Lauryn is a dedicated Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a passion for helping others navigate life's challenges. Lauryn's journey in psychology began with her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from McMaster University. She is currently pursuing her Master of Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University (MACP). 

Playing high-level athletics throughout her life, Lauryn has cultivated resilience and a deep appreciation for teamwork, which integrates into her therapeutic approach. She believes in the mind-body connection and is certified in yoga therapy for depression and anxiety. She recognizes the benefits of yoga and mindfulness in promoting mental well-being. Beyond psychotherapy, Lauryn is actively engaged in non-profit community work, serving as a board member at Youth Mental Health Canada. 

In her counselling practice, Lauryn employs a strength-based, solution-focused approach, drawing from Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD. Her goal is to empower individuals to overcome their struggles, fostering growth and resilience while instilling a sense of hope for the future.
